NASHVILLE, Tenn.— Award-winning Australian singer/songwriter -- Nathan Tasker’s eOne Christian Music debut, Home, released to critical acclaim last week. In celebration of the project, “An Evening With Nathan Tasker” was held on release day. Hosted by album co-producer Charlie Peacock at his Art House Nashville, the event featured special appearances from Plumb, Bebo Norman and Keith Getty, and was streamed live by www.JesusFreakHideout.com.

ChristianityToday.com calls Home “...timeless coffeehouse pop with innovative instrumental variety and introspective songwriting,” while WatchGMCtv.com says the project boasts “...a melodic pop sound, cozy vocals and an all-star production team...” In addition, JesusFreakHideout.com lauds Home as “...a different sort of album for the summer: relaxed, easy listening with a higher purpose in mind.”

Produced by Peacock, Jason Ingram, Rusty Varenkamp and Tasker—who also co-wrote 10 of the project’s 11 selections—Home is Tasker’s fourth studio recording and first U.S. release. Highlights of the project include the debut single “Something Beautiful,” “Love Is The Compass,” “Eternity (What We Were Made For),” “Beautiful Again,” and the title-cut, among other selections.

One of Australia’s leading Christian recording artists, Tasker has three best-selling albums, a string of #1 singles and numerous accolades to his credit. Now living in the U.S., he was named among "2011: New Artists to Watch” by Gospel Music Channel’s watchGMCtv.com, and was featured at this year’s National Religious Broadcasters Convention and Evangelical Press Association Convention, in addition to performing at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall earlier this month.

eOne Christian Music is dedicated to the support of culturally-relevant and ministry-focused artists. Established in 2005, the Christian division of eOne Music is fast becoming an emerging voice in Christian music with a roster including Avalon, Rita Springer, Twila Paris, The Myriad, gospel chart-topper William McDowell and the recent signings of strong emerging talent such as Rush of Fools, Echoing Angels and Nathan Tasker. eOne Christian Music is distinguished by their strong focus on artist development, their commitment to building relationships with artists and their goal to build lasting ministries while making a difference in both the music industry and the global community.
